Your regional AHMA met with six of our region's Congresspersons and/or their staff, in Washington DC on Tuesday, March 10! We also asked them for legislative changes that will facilitate better coordination between housing programs and agencies, provide owners with exit tax relief, and make changes to the "student rule" so that low-income residents can improve their lives without losing their housing - among other things!
